Super Tuesday

Ahh, New York's primary election for selecting Democratic and Republican candidates to run for United States President will be held tomorrow (along with a bunch of other provinces-errr "states") I will be voting for Ron Paul, and, though I seriously doubt he has any chance of winning our state's primary, I strongly encourage all registered Republicans to vote for him. He is the only candidate who seeks to shrink the size of government and return responsibility to the people.

Saw a Ron Paul caravan up in Johnstown yesterday. We waved and beeped. I wanted to get a picture on the way home, but they were gone..

All of the campgain signs I have seen within 30 miles of my house have been Ron Paul signs. (100+ signs) Despite that fact, he only won 8% of the vote in Yates County. I think that he had widespread support among voters who had investigated the candidates, but there always seem to be more people who don't investigate and vote for the last person they saw on television.

You must not have gotten the memo. That's not what the Republican party is about anymore...

Cubby, thanks for stopping by!

Yeah, I'm finally realizing that the G.O.P. of today does not represent people like me. I decided about a week ago that I'm going to change my registration from Republican to Independent. If only some party would represent my ideals...
