I want to leave a huge plug for the American Hurling Company. I recently purchased a hurley and sliotar from them and am very pleased with both the quality and customer service. If you're a North American looking for a hurley maker, this is your company.
a few of our guys (myspace.com/columbiaredbranch) bought some hurleys a few months ago from the american hurling co. and they felt like they weighed twice as much as a torpey. we have ordered a few recently and they feel like they're getting quite a bit lighter and it seems like am hurl co. is starting to produce some nice hurleys. found your blog randomly searching for american hurling.
