Withdrawl Date

Well, maybe it's not a withdrawl date but it's definitely not a date to throw a party.

For more information, click here.

Apparently we'll still be a plurality, just not a majority. It still sucks to be a minority, ask African-Americans in the South or Mexican-Americans in the Southwest.

I wonder if there will ever be a massive return of Whites to Europe? Perhaps Australia? ...just a question that popped into my head.

I'm sorry, I just don't really find it all that pertinent. What does it matter what color or race we are? It's the root of so many of our problems across the globe. It's an issue that has plagued the world from the beginning of mankind. We're all human.

It's like what Warren Beaty said in the fantastic film "Bullworth" in reference to equality:

"everybody's gotta keep f*c%#ng everybody til we're all the same color"

The underlying issue is not race, it's culture. We are who we are, in large part, because of the society in which we were raised. When that society is dramatically altered, our way of life may be threatened. What if Qatar's culture began to significantly influence American culture? Would you welcome Sharia in the United States? Most American women would not.

We have one of the most open and accepting societies on the face of the Earth, and I do not want that to be threatened. Accepting immigrants who do not necessarily share our beliefs about individual rights, government, and tolerance may not affect our society. Then again, maybe it will.
